Website Changes
Good Afternoon!
I wanted to point out some changes that we have made to the website to make it a little easier for you to find what you are looking for.
Pictures of the puppies can now be found by clicking at the top where it says "Small Breeds Available" or "Large Breeds Available"
We also have items that you can purchase in the store and those items are found by clicking at the top where it says "Items for Your Puppy"
We are also featuring a breed on the right hand column.
Lastly if you would like to follow us our content changes be sure to sign up to receive e-mails. You will do that by putting in your information in the right hand side.

More About Us...
We wanted to take this time to further explain who we are and what we are all about. So here it goes....
We are located in the Trader's Village Market in Grand Prairie, Tx. We have been operating in the same location since 1973 and for the first time in history out there, we are the only pet store in the market. Trader's Village is an open-air market only open on Saturday and Sunday but we are fully enclosed with central heat and air so that our puppies are nice and comfortable no matter what the weather is like on the weekends. This enables you to come look and play and be out of the cold or heat, depending on the time of year. We feel it is in the best interest of the puppy that we meet you in person either at our store or during the week locally so we do not ship puppies at all. We have many people that drive from Louisiana, west Texas and many other places just to get a puppy from us.
Jay worked for the previous owners for about 18 years and has been the current owner for 3 years. Many changes were instituted when he took over ownership and we feel that it has heightened the quality of your experience when choosing your next pet. We only deal with quality breeders and individuals. We take every precaution possible to ensure that your future pet is very healthy by vaccinating with veterinarian grade vaccine called Vanguard Plus 5 and Intra-Trac III at least twice before they are sent home. Plus they are de-wormed multiple times and given medicine to eliminate intestinal issues such as coccidia, giardia and other parasites. Two days before they go to our store they are seen by Dr. Jim Wilson, DVM at Alamo Pet Clinic and his staff and given a health certificate proving good health. But that's not all! The next thing is what sets us apart from other markets! Trader's Village of Grand Prairie holds us to a very high standard when dealing with our puppies. Most places that you can buy a puppy from only give you a 3 day health guarantee that cover/protect very little. But we give you a 2 week contagious disease guarantee and a one year hereditary guarantee that we certainly stand behind if necessary. What this means is that if your pet becomes ill within the first 2 weeks after the purchase or if a veterinarian finds something wrong with the puppy you can do one of three things: you can return the puppy for a full refund, you can exchange the puppy for a different puppy or you can bring the puppy to us and we will take care of all the treatment and it will not cost you anything at all and as soon as the puppy is well again we will return the puppy to you and extend the guarantee for you. We put all of this in writing and send a copy home with you. In addition to all of that, we send you home a pamphlet on how to care for your new pet like we have been caring for him/her plus a sample of food and special vitamin go with you and lastly but most importantly we are on call for you seven days a week from 9am-8pm even on holidays if you need anything at all!
